The FEIB also investigates explosions, illegal explosives and illegal fireworks. The SFM FEIB provides the post-blast investigation team (PBIT) for the Ohio Homeland Security. Ten of our investigators and supervisors are specially trained to investigate explosions, to collect evidence and to reconstruct explosives devices and identify suspects for arrest / prosecution.
