The members of the FEIB are heavily involved in providing training to local fire and law enforcement personnel in the areas of fire investigation, arson investigation, fireworks and post blast investigation training. Members work with the staff of the Ohio Fire Academy to present several programs, both in residence and via direct delivery, including;
- Arson Awareness for First Responders – 14 hours
- Scene Indicators of Arson – 4 hours
- Fire – Explosion Investigation Bureau Briefing
- MIRV – demonstrations and tours, support training programs
