Common causes and ways to prevent fires from occurring in health care facilities and what staff should do in the event of a fire (RACE). MINIMUM OF 12 - NO MAXIMUM NUMBER |
| LIFTS AND CARRIES: |
Staff will learn what to do in the event of a fire (RACE) and practice four different emergency lift and carry techniques to be used for residents in the event of a fire. MINIMUM OF 12 - NO MORE THAN 25 STUDENTS |
| FIRE EXTINGUISHER: |
Staff will learn what to do in the event of a fire (RACE). Staff will also learn the different classes of fires and types of extinguishers, when and when not to fight a fire and each participant must actually put out a fire. MINIMUM OF 12 - NO MORE THAN 25 STUDENTS. |
