SUNDAY SALE HOURS CHANGE (HB1)
On July 17, 2009, Governor Strickland signed the State’s Budget Bill (House Bill 1) which included changes to help stimulate Ohio’s economy. One of the provisions in HB1 authorizes certain D-6 permit holders to increase the hours they can sell intoxicating liquor on Sundays.
All D-6 permit holders whose Sunday privileges for the sale of intoxicating liquor began at 1:00 pm may begin at 11:00 am effective October 18, 2009.
